Security officers regularly patrol all parts of the campus, including buildings, and parking lots during the evening classes. At any time if a student feels unsafe walking to their vehicle, they may contact security and ask for an escort to their vehicle. Morehead City Police Department also makes periodic patrols of the campus, especially at night.
